The Oasis Scholarship is a special program from the West Bengal government. Its main job is to give money to students who are good at studies but whose families don’t have a lot of money. It helps students from SC (Scheduled Castes), ST (Scheduled Tribes), and OBC (Other Backward Classes) so they can continue their education without any financial problems.

The whole process, from applying to checking your status, is done online on a website called the Oasis portal. This makes it easy for students to apply from their homes.
